Flying Fox Coffee has opened a second location in Greer, in the former Scändi Tiny Coffee space. The new location offers the same coffee and pastries as the downtown shop while adding features like a drive-thru, fire pits, lawn games and expanded outdoor seating.
Flying Fox Coffee, a popular coffee shop in downtown Greer, is expanding with a second location near Lake Cunningham. The new cafe will take over the former Scändi Tiny Coffee location, offering the same beverage and pastry menu as its downtown location with a few unique twists. The food menu will be altered due to the lack of a kitchen, and a drive-thru option will be available for quick pickups. The team hopes to have the new location open within the month.
Celine Griffin, owner of Third Place Coffee House, has turned a former art studio into a community hub in a Greer suburb. The building has a rich history, as it was once a working farmhouse for the Hudson family, who started Silverleaf Dairy Farm in 1928. Griffin has big hopes for the shop, but for now, she is focused on being a hub for the community to gather.
