Riverside High School's Virtual Enterprises program has won the Southern Region Business Plan title with their company, Tundra, which created the Ice Cap, a product designed to fit over an existing lock and allow doors to unlock instantly using a wristband fob or a mobile app. The team will compete at the national level in New York City in April. The program allows high school students to create a product and work in a simulated company, providing them with real-world experience. The team runs day-to-day business operations out of the classroom, and some members have even worked with local business owners.
