The first-ever GreerNews.com Sports Awards was held on Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m at Turner Chapel on the campus of North Greenville University.
The GreerNews.com Sports Awards was an ESPYs-style red carpet event that recognized athletes and teams from the 2025-2026 season from Greer High School, Byrnes High School, Riverside High School, Eastside High School, Blue Ridge High School, and Greer Middle College Charter High School.
“It was a great night to showcase the phenomenal athletes and teams that have excelled in sports in Greer-area high schools this year,” said Trey Stewart, Sports Editor for GreerNews.com. “We have been blessed with much success this year, and this was a great opportunity to bring everyone together for one night to celebrate those accomplishments as a collective community.”
