Eastside High School’s Taryah Humbert is the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by D&D Motors.

Voting opened Monday and remained open until noon on Wednesday. Voters were able to cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.

Humbert, who is an eighth-grader, averaged 19 points between two games over the weekend, as Eastside began the season 2-0 and with a bracket championship in the She Got Next Tournament.

Nominees for the week of Nov. 24-Nov. 30 included Humbert, Sebi Boyogueno of Riverside, and Sukhi Singh of Byrnes.

The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week is a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year. Athletes from Greer, Byrnes, Riverside, Eastside, Greer Middle College, and Blue Ridge are eligible.
