The city of Greer is calling for submissions for its sesquicentennial branding package. Interested designers should submit their applications before Friday, Sept. 5.

Greer will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2026, known as a sesquicentennial, and is seeking a new logo and elements for a brand kit, including icons, color palettes and typography. The City will use the winning design in marketing materials, signage, merchandise, public art and digital platforms throughout the anniversary year.

Those interested in applying should submit a portfolio of their past work, a mock-up or rendering of the sesquicentennial logo and a brief experience summary. All materials can be submitted to the Greer Cultural Arts Council at artscouncil@cityofgreersc.gov.

The City will review all eligible submissions and select three finalists, who will be interviewed in mid-September. The final selected designer will be offered a design contract of $4,000 and compensated upon submission of the final artwork.
