The Greer Heritage Museum just wrapped up Museum Week, raising more than $17,000 through community events.
Museum Week is a weeklong celebration honoring the work of the Greer Heritage Museum in the community. This year’s events included restaurant fundraisers, an inaugural gala and a 30th birthday party for the museum.
“In total, we raised $17,711.32 to support the museum's long-term sustainability,” said Jonathan Lovegrove, events and communications coordinator at the museum. “These funds will go directly toward our core staffing, new exhibit development and educational programs.”
