The Greer Heritage Museum is kicking off Greer’s sesquicentennial year with an open house tomorrow, Jan. 3.Â
Starting at noon on Saturday, the museum will celebrate the opening of a new exhibit with a ribbon cutting. The open house will follow the ribbon cutting, complete with live music, free popcorn, a photo booth and a new Greer 150 merch store.
The first 20 guests at the event will receive free Greer 150 merch. While the sesquicentennial store is officially launching Saturday, additional merchandise is available for purchase online. This weekend’s kick off event will be the first of several events throughout the year celebrating Greer’s birthday.
The Greer 150 Kick Off event will be from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday at the Greer Heritage Museum. For more information, visit the museum’s website.
