Eric Nolan Pickens, 51, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026. Born in Princeton, NJ, on Aug. 6, 1975, he lived most of his adult years here in the Upstate.
Eric graduated from Hopewell Valley Central High School. He was a true believer in the Lord. He enjoyed listening to Bob Marley, and his favorite hobby was playing his electric guitar. Eric enjoyed living a laid-back life and appreciating the simple pleasures.
He was preceded in death by the late James and Norma Pickens and his twin sister, Erica Nicole Harris.
He is survived by his brothers, Howard Lewis Sexton (Venitta) and James Pickens Jr.; his sisters, Sandra Kidd, Kimberly Pickens, and Linda Pickens; and a host of relatives and friends.
Eric will have a viewing visitation service at 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.
