Jerry Wayne Griffin, 73, passed away at Upstate Community Hospice House on May 28, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, son of the late JB and Mae Barnett Griffin, he was a Veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard, an employee of FSC Cutting Tool Technology, and a member of Mountain View Global Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Vivian Lee Trammell Griffin of the home; a son, Kevin Wayne Griffin (Rebekah Taylor Holden) of Lyman, South Carolina; a brother, Rickie Griffin of Greer, South Carolina; and a sister, Diane Bridwell of Greer, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. June 1 at Mountain View Global Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Laura Geloni. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45 p.m., June 1,at the church.
The family will be at their respective homes.
