John Robert Gray, Jr., 82, husband of the late Kay Mockbee Gray, passed away October 20, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late John Robert Gray, Sr., and Aldine Holtzclaw Gray, he served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for eight years, was a retired employee of Michelin Tire Co. after 30 years of service and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his cousins, Jerry A. Bruce and Nadine Trapp Hurst and caregivers for the past 5 years, Cindy Campbell and Amber Campbell.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main Street, Greer, South Carolina 29650.
