Kenneth Brown Jenkins, 85, passed away at his home on July 19, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, son of the late Arthur Roy and Susan Jane Brown Jenkins. After land surveying in Alaska for many years, he returned home to upstate South Carolina and owned a small business, including a lime/fertilizer spreading service, which he also operated until he retired. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Janice Cordon Jenkins of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Stevenson (Dennis) of Georgia; a son, Darren Jenkins (Leigh Anne) of Georgia; two brothers, Robert Jenkins (Judi) of Florida and Ingrid Allen Jenkins of Greer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Greenville, South Carolina and the Appalachian Council of Governments, Greenville, South Carolina.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Aug. 1 at The Wood Mortuary.
