Myrtle McCoy Smith, 82, wife of the late George Milton Smith, passed away September 23, 2026.
A native of Taylors, South Carolina, daughter of the late Wesley and Nellie Williams McCoy, she was a retired employee of Computer Dynamics and a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Crissie L. and Bryan K. Wood of Greer.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Marvin McCoy, Harold McCoy, Louie McCoy, and Earl McCoy and a sister, Lorene Beeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Michael Beeks and Rev. Todd Johnson. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Sept. 26 at the church.
The family is at their respective homes.
