Sharon Ruth Suprun Littley, 77, of Greer, SC, passed away August 22, 2026. Born on April 24, 1949, in Somers Point, New Jersey, to the late Leon and Ruth Suprun. Sharon lived a life rich with love, purpose and unmistakable warmth that drew people to her wherever she went.
A native of Mays Landing, New Jersey, Sharon worked and retired from George Mason University in Northern Virginia. She then relocated to Fairfield, Virginia with her husband Jack and lived there for twelve years. She was a member of many organizations in Lexington, Virginia including the Lexington Women’s Club, the Lexington Newcomer’s Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church, Virginia, and was currently attending Covenant Church in Greer, South Carolina.
Sharon loved to entertain and host parties for her friends. She also enjoyed helping organizations for those who were less fortunate.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Jack Littley of nearly 58 years. They were high school sweethearts and traveled the world together, building many happy memories. Sharon is also survived by her daughter Sharon Michelle “Micki” Littley Ewens (David), two grandchildren, Ashleigh M. Ewens, Atlanta, Georgia and Meghan N. Ewens, Denver, Colorodo; and a sister, Gayle Suprun Ware of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, and many nieces and nephews.
Micki was able to spend the last six months with her Mom doing things that they loved. They had many shopping outings, plays and dinners together during that time.
She was predeceased by a son, Kevin M. Littley.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 19 at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, South Carolina. A celebration of life will also be held in Lexington, Virginia at a later date.
