Shirley Mae Grubbs Price, 81, passed away July 18, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Angus and Clara Vaughan Grubbs, she was a homemaker, a lover of Jesus Christ and a member of Cashville Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are a daughter, Loretta Price of Woodruff, South Carolina; a stepdaughter, Trudy Murphy (Charles); and a sister, Yvonne G. Fortenberry of Woodruff, South Carolina.
Ms. Price was predeceased by two brothers, James Grubbs and Fred Grubbs and a sister, Sadie Sherbert.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. July 24 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Wilson Lancaster and Rev. Wayne Hinton with webcasting available. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. July 24 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at the home of her sister.
