Timothy Clifton Bruce passed away peacefully at Manna Post Acute Care on June 12, 2026, at the age of 74.
Born on May 6, 1952, in Greenville, South Carolina, Tim was the son of Betty Fleming Bruce and the late Buford Bruce.
Tim attended Paris Elementary School, League Middle School, and Piedmont Skills. He enjoyed many activities throughout his life, especially hunting and fishing with his brother, Danny. He also loved bowling with his nephew, Jeremy, playing putt-putt golf with his family, and going to see Avengers movies. Tim was a devoted fan of the Clemson Tigers and the Atlanta Braves and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams.
Left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother are his sister, Melinda Shockley and her husband, Curtis Shockley; his niece, Ashley Jolly, and her children, Olivia and Granger Jolly; his nephew, Jeremy Shockley and his wife, Niki Shockley, and their son, Alonzo; and his sister-in-law, Bev Bruce.
He was predeceased by his beloved brother, Danny Bruce.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 1:45 p.m. June 20 at The Wood Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. June 20 at The Wood Mortuary. A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Tim will be remembered for his warm heart, his love of family, his enthusiasm for sports and outdoor activities and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

We would especially like to thank the nurses and staff of Manna Post Acute for the love, compassion and care they provided Tim. We do not know how we would have made it through this time of our lives without your support and dedication. Your kindness meant so much to Tim and he truly loved all of you.
