The Greer Farmers Market has concluded its 2025 season, averaging 1,000 attendees per market. The market, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, featured 22 farms, 21 food vendors and 36 musicians. This year, it also introduced the Healthy Kids program, which provided $5 vouchers to children to spend on local produce. The market plans to continue bringing excitement to Greer City Park on weekends, with the Winter-Spring Market Series kicking off on Jan. 25.
South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette spoke to the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce last Friday. The event was part of the Chamber’s First Friday Lunch series, a networking event for local business leaders. The luncheon also included the announcement of the Leadership Greer Class 46.
