Two women and one child were found dead in a house fire in Greer, South Carolina. The victims have been identified as Julianne Marie Burgess, 57, Laura Ellen Brysacz, 70, and Piper Rubi McCullough, 3. The cause of death has been ruled as inhalation of products of combustion and thermal burns. The manner of death remains pending as the Coroner's Office continues to work with fire investigators and law enforcement agencies to determine the cause and origin of the fire.

The Greer Fire Department responded to a structure fire with entrapment at 213 Mason Street on Jan. 30. Three victims were rescued from the residence and taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for treatment. The fire was brought under control with no firefighter injuries reported. The cause of the fire was determined to be a space heater, and the incident remains under investigation.

The Greer Fire Department responded to a house fire in the early hours of Tuesday, Nov. 11. The fire was reportedly started by a kerosene heater. No injuries were reported, and the two occupants who were home at the time of the fire were able to escape.
