Community members are invited to bring their photos, documents or artifacts related to Greer to the Greer Heritage Museum for its History Drive on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents can donate items or have them scanned and returned if they wish to keep their old treasures.

Residents can bring photos, maps, letters, yearbooks, newspapers and other scannable objects to be scanned and uploaded to the library system's digital archive. The event is part of the library's larger push to preserve and honor local history in Greer. The library system's digital archive currently has over 30,000 items, and the library continues to build it up through community archiving events.
