Greer is hosting four live music events this weekend, including The Acoustic Medicine Show Revival at White Wine & Butter, L.C. Branch Music at Trade Street Social, Bluegrass Brunch at The Southern Growl, and Sidecar at The Mason Jar.

Greer is hosting a variety of weekend events to kick off 2026, including a grand opening celebration at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a Bluegrass Brunch at The Southern Growl, a silent book club at Cartwright Food Hall and a live music performance by the Carolina Moon Band at The Mason Jar. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe is offering a free 24-oz smoothie with a food or bowl purchase, and the first 50 guests who arrive on Saturday will receive one free smoothie per week for a year.
The Greer Farmers Market has concluded its 2025 season, averaging 1,000 attendees per market. The market, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, featured 22 farms, 21 food vendors and 36 musicians. This year, it also introduced the Healthy Kids program, which provided $5 vouchers to children to spend on local produce. The market plans to continue bringing excitement to Greer City Park on weekends, with the Winter-Spring Market Series kicking off on Jan. 25.

The Greer Farmers Market is bringing back its Annual Chili Cookoff Fundraiser this Friday, November 14 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Greer City Park. Competitors will continue serving chili until 8 p.m. or until sold out, and tasting tickets will be available at the Greer Farmers Market booths.
Sewing Up Dreams, a custom infant and children's clothing store in Greer, is hosting a Christmas Open House this Saturday. The event will feature local vendors, a craft workshop and plenty of festive activities. Owner Leigh Radlein will be debuting Sewing Up Dreams' 2025 Christmas ornament, with all proceeds benefiting the Syl Syl Christmas Toy Drive, and Santa Claus will make a guest appearance. The free event is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 703 W. Poinsett St.
The Greer Police Department and the City of Greer will host their second annual Trunk-or-Treat on Trade event on October 26th. The event will feature free Domino's pizza, a photo booth, touch-a-truck experiences for kids, and plenty of candy. Costumes are encouraged, and attendees can vote on their favorite trunk display. The event aims to build positive relationships with first responders and create community connections. Last year's event was a great success, and this year's event will have triple the number of trunks.
Creative Slingers of Ink is hosting its first Fall Book Festival in Greer on Oct. 18 at the Historic Greer Depot. The festival will feature 32 authors from across the nation, with many being local to the Upstate region. There will be over 50 genres and 150 book titles represented, as well as food vendors and a charity book drive benefiting Greer Relief. Attendees can also participate in a Passport to Reading game for a chance to win a box of books donated by the authors. The event is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Greer CPW is hosting its fourth-annual Lake Robinson Day on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event features educational exhibits, inflatables, kayaking, outdoor yoga sessions, a rain barrel workshop, a tree giveaway and a blood drive. The aim is to highlight the lake's importance as an economic driver and recreational area, and to educate people about where their water comes from.
