Mary O’Shields Burch, 83, wife of the late Roy Burch, passed away May 27, 2026.
A native of Woodruff, South Carolina, daughter of the late Russell and Cynthia Weona Becknell O’Shields, she was a retired employee of Johnson Controls and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two children, Kimberly Burch Pittman (John) and Donnie Burch both of Greer, South Carolina; a bonus child, Deana Chappell; four grandchildren, Kacilee Pittman (Dylan), Dakota Pittman (Rachel), Jacob Locklair (Bailey), and Colby Lindsey (Ali); four great-grandchildren, Levi Cape, Nolan Pittman, Ellie Pittman, and Rocky Locklair; and a son-in-law, Shonn Lindsey.
Mrs. Burch was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Burch Lindsey; a brother, C.B. Robert O’Shields; and two sisters, Ruby Wildes and Shelby Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. May 30 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly.
Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:45 p.m., May 30 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at the home of her daughter Kimberly Burch Pittman.
