The Greer Area Touchdown Club honored on Thursday its Players of the Week for games played during Week 2 of Greer-area high school football.
The Offensive Player of the Week award went to Zy Foster of Greer High School. Foster had 102 yards and a touchdown on seven rushes in a 52-0 win over Union County.
The Lineman of the Week award went to Braylen Estep of Blue Ridge High School who was dominant in the Tigers' 28-6 win over Travelers Rest.
The Defensive Player of the Week award went to Tyler Spinner of Greer. Spinner had 15 total tackles and two sacks in Greer's 52-0 win over Union County.
The Greer Touchdown Club meets every Thursday during the football season at His Vineyard Church in Greer, and the public is invited. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $16.
Next week's speaker is Anderson University head football coach Bobby Lamb.
