The Peace Center in downtown Greenville is set to open Coach Music Factory, a new standing-room-only venue for live music with a capacity of 1,100. The venue, housed in a historic building originally built in 1857, features a modern industrial design with original brick walls and hardwood floors, as well as three full-service bars and an outdoor patio balcony. The third floor has been repurposed into a private event space. The venue's opening night will feature a sold-out performance by G. Love & Special Sauce, followed by The Lone Bellow and The Infamous Stringdusters.

Greer is hosting a variety of weekend events to kick off 2026, including a grand opening celebration at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a Bluegrass Brunch at The Southern Growl, a silent book club at Cartwright Food Hall and a live music performance by the Carolina Moon Band at The Mason Jar. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe is offering a free 24-oz smoothie with a food or bowl purchase, and the first 50 guests who arrive on Saturday will receive one free smoothie per week for a year.

Three events are happening around town this weekend, including the Harris Teeter Holly Jolly Festival, a Christmas celebration with games, crafts, and festive music, and a visit from Santa. Coach Music Factory, a new live music space at the Peace Center, announces its first acts for 2026. The first announced shows are G. Love & Special Sauce (Feb. 7, 2026), The Lone Bellow (March 27, 2026) and The Infamous Stringdusters (April 26, 2026). Tickets for all three performances go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at peacecenter.org.

There are four live music performances coming to Greer this weekend. Elliott Morgan will be performing at Teeter Tavern 291 on Thursday evening, while Streeting September will be performing at Wild Ace Pizza & Pub as part of their Fall Music Series. Benton Blount, a top 10 finalist on America's Got Talent, will be performing at Ollie's Tavern on Friday evening. Finally, Israel Bailey and the Delinquents will be performing outside on the patio at The Southern Growl on Saturday evening.
